301™ WASH3D

For WASH3D, the goal was to refine 301’s visual and sonic aesthetic even further. This EP extends the exploration of electronic textures by emphasizing strong contrasts—slow rhythms against sharp percussion, vintage samples reimagined in an ultra-modern context, and a spatialization that highlights each element with precision.

Visually, WASH3D is built on a minimalist and clean approach, staying true to 301’s universe. The cover features a floating detergent bottle—an everyday object that symbolizes the pursuit of purity and clarity in sound. Just like the artwork, the music plays with contrasting textures, with chopped and looped vocals acting as structural elements, much like graphic components in a composition.

The EP draws from two-step, house, and trap influences, but without adhering strictly to genre conventions. The aim was to integrate these styles into an exceptionally clean and precise sonic environment—almost clinical—while maintaining a human touch through samples and rhythmic variations. WASH3D represents a synthesis of clear artistic direction and immersive sound design, where every detail is carefully crafted to deliver an experience that is both raw and sophisticated.
